Dr. Vishal Savani is a Mumbai based Consultant Psychiatrist with more than eight years’ experience in the field with special interest in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is currently associated with Dr. Daruwalas Polyclinic, Omega Polyclinic, Prakashjyot Hospital & Kher Hospital. Dr. Savani is also associated with an expert team of professionals for undertaking several Psychological Tests, IQ Testing, Educational Evaluations, Career Counselling, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Special Educators as well as Counselling for stress & emotional issues.
Dr. Savani has completed MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik followed by a Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) in Mumbai.
He has worked at the Child Guidance Clinic (School Mental Health Clinic), Centre for Learning Disability at TNMC & Nair Hospital, Mumbai for over six years seeing thousands of children with developmental disorders.
Dr. Savani has organized and participated in several multi-diagnostic medical camps in addition to conducting training & awareness workshops in mental health/ developmental disorders esp. LD & ADHD for schools, medical professionals, caregivers and mental health professionals.
He has also presented/ published papers & conducted workshops on the National and International forum incl. Indian Association for Child & Adolescent Mental Health (IACAM), International Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics (IJCP) and Indian Association of Private Psychiatry (IAPP)
He has been in Private Practice dealing with Child, Adolescent and Adult population with various mental health concerns both out-patient as well as in-patient basis.
Earlier he was associated as a Consultant with the Apollo Hospital OPD clinics and now practices at Tardeo, Chembur, Deonar & Kandivli.
